Porsche is now also offering the Cayman as a Black Edition. The all-in-black special series previously comprised the Boxster and the 911 Carrera with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive as both a coupé and a cabriolet, distinguished by their expanded standard equipment.

This hard-shell counterpart to the Boxster shares the same extreme ebony exterior/interior motif and also boasts an upgraded roster of standards that opens with 20-inch Carrera Classic alloy wheels, Bi-Xenon headlamps with Porsche Dynamic Light System and front/rear Park Assist.

The combination of black paintwork and a black partial leather interior emphasises the timeless and sporty elegance of the sports cars. The standard equipment of the Black Edition models includes Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation module, automatic anti-dazzle mirrors, rain sen-sor, cruise control, parking assistant at the front and rear and the Sport Design steer-ing wheel.

The Cayman Black Edition is based on the mid-engine coupé with a 2.7 litre flat en-gine and 275 hp (202 kW). The 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System) and optional side window trims in alu-minium are eye-catching highlights. For enhanced personal comfort, the driver and passenger can avail of two-zone climate control and heated seats. The Cayman Black Edition comes with the high-quality audio system Sound Package Plus.

In Germany, sales of the Porsche Cayman Black Edition will start on 2 October. The price in-cluding VAT and country-specific equipment is 59,596 euros.
