Latest retail location to offer full range of servicing and sales of the complete McLaren range, including the latest model in the Sports Series, the 570GT, due to debut next week at the 86th International Geneva Motor Show
McLaren Automotive continues to expand its global retail network with the latest European location in Italian-speaking Lugano, Switzerland. The new retailer officially opened on Wednesday 24 February, joining Geneva and Zurich as the third sales point in the country.
The design of the brand-new sales facility features the latest visual identity and will allow customers and fans to fully immerse themselves into the fascinating world of the iconic British brand. The new retail location provides the ultimate in customer experience and offers the full range of servicing and sales for all three McLaren model families: Sports, Super and Ultimate Series.
The end of 2015 marked the end of production of the road-going McLaren P1 from the Ultimate Series, as the final examples of the limited run of 375 vehicles were delivered to the customers. The McLaren P1 established the pinnacle of the three-tier product range and McLaren Lugano will offer the full servicing package available for its discerning customers.
Currently available from McLaren Lugano is the core Super Series, comprising the groundbreaking McLaren 650S in Coupé and Spider derivatives. Both models incorporate a range of Formula 1 technologies such as carbon fibre MonoCell, active aerodynamics and the state-of-the-art ProActive Chassis Control providing the ultimate control on both road and track.
The McLaren range completes with the more attainable Sports Series conceived to introduce McLaren DNA and performance credentials to the sports car segment. With a road-biased nature and less focus on lap times, the new Sports Series provides enhanced usability and promises an engaging and fun driving experience. The critically-acclaimed Sports Series range includes the McLaren 570S Coupé and 540C Coupé, as well as the upcoming 570GT scheduled for global reveal at the 86th International Geneva Motor Show on the Tuesday 1 March. Pricing for the Sports Series starts from CHF 167,000.

McLaren Lugano will be operated by IP Motors SA from the landmark Tarcisio Pasta building situated in Via San Gottardo 27, Cadenazzo and in close proximity to Lugano and Ascona.
